Second... he takes forever to come upstairs. But when he does, he's suddenly feeling quite spry and runs right for me. Does this give him away? Well... it should when I smudge him. So - what is the ghost type? If you guessed it's a revenant, especially after my teammates angle with the ghost in the other room, then you'd be right. This ghost is very fast when it knows where players are but slow when it does not.

Yes, he did speed up when he saw her, but that's just a coincidence, when smudged he was still fast for a second. And then when she hid it could be heard that the ghost sped up once again. Or it could be a Raiju, but Raiju is normal speed, this ghost was slower than normal. It's Hantu.
