This was the most insane police response I've ever seen.
It wouldn't have mattered whether he was a cop, or not.
No doubt he would have killed someone either way.
Maybe he thought he could get away with it as a cop.
I think he's an obvious psychopath and it's time those hiring these maniacs get investigated.
We keep focusing on the cop, but somebody is giving them a gun and badge.
We're being distracted.
I'll bet there's many people down the line responsible for what I'm convinced are deliberately hiring these animals.

The facts are 100% exculpatory! Thereâs even video evidence for crying out loud! The charges against Officer Grayson should never have been brought. And Sonya Massey wasnât just a little off her rocker; her kids were with their father because she was so unstable. Do you understand what psychotic symptoms are and how they manifest? A personâs behavior during a psychotic episode is bizarre and dreamlike, almost like a nightmare. Itâs deeply unsettling because itâs so disconnected from reality, yet it can seem strangely sincere.
Watch the earlier part of the video to see her bizarre behavior. Her deluded and distraught mind went into overdrive when they asked her about her car, and later when they requested her driverâs license. She brought up the Bible and claimed she could get "her papers" instead of providing her license. She lied about the car, saying it wasnât hers. Her delusion hit a fever pitch when she saw the officers step back from her pot.
By the way, the two rooms are very smallâshe was just a step or two away from Grayson. Graysonâs partner was behind him, with the nearby wall behind them both. This means the officers were well within the potential soak zone, even if they had tried to flee at the first sign of danger. The wide-angle lens on the body camera makes the room appear larger than it actually is.
I donât know why folks say her actions were not threatening. Why do you think she had boiling liquid on the stove? Her mental state was so highly charged that she was hallucinating about a prowler. Her anxiety was through the roofâshe certainly wasnât cooking spaghetti! Where were the noodles? Was she making pasta at 1 a.m.? Of course not. She had the pot as an improvised weapon against whatever foe her deluded mind had conjured. She put the pot on the stove around the time she began "perceiving" a prowler.
Itâs not her fault; thatâs what paranoid schizophrenics doâthey hallucinate. The officersâ behavior was likely confusing to her because they werenât acting with hostility, so her delusion didnât immediately lead to aggression. But when she saw them stepping back, her delusion crystallized. She adjusted her grip on the pot, uttered a rebuke, and turned to look balefully at Grayson. She then apologized, ducked upon seeing his gun, and set the pot on the counter.
She was off-camera for about a second before suddenly re-emerging with the pot raised above her head in a throwing motion aimed at Officer Grayson. Thatâs when she was shot. If she hadnât been, Grayson could have been seriously injured. She undeniably posed a threat to the officers.
What tactic do you think the prosecutor will take? The jury matters less than the legal argument. The prosecutor must find a way to poke holes in one or more of the Five Elements of Self-Defense. An honest judge should dismiss the case outright if none of the elements are undermined. Itâs not the juryâs prerogative to decide that. Trial by jury isnât a popularity contest, and the video plainly shows that all five elements were met.
The body camera footage clearly shows Sonya throwing boiling liquid at the officers. No critic of Officer Grayson has been able to refute that. Since you havenât addressed it, you implicitly concede the point. And if you concede that, then Officer Graysonâs claim of proportionate response to a deadly threat remains unchallenged.
