Didn’t they say that after escaping Harrans walls he was tested on and then he escaped after 13 years? That would mean it takes place in 2028 not 2035 which I believe is that start of dying light 2 also it makes less sense for it to happen after dying light 2 because the people and zombies aren’t wearing goofy clothes like in the 2nd game. And yes I’m guessing that the cyberpunk look would be trendy so it would be popular across the world.

I think the only people upset are the ones grinding dying light 2 since launch. They do all the events and want to feel powerful. They want to show their progress wasn't for nothing. So, making standalone dlc means they have to start over. Meanwhile, people who played the game and dropped it like me. I am not upset at all. I have been waiting for the dlc, and my biggest issue with dying light 2 was the bugs. I beat it twice during launch and stopped playing. Games was so broken to care.

Idk why but i really wouldve preferred that it was before dying light 2. After learning that villadore and the city is the last bastion of hope, there should be nothing outside of it. But now theres a dl2 version the following? It just feels like they're back tracking and acting like there are more places than "the city".
