Thats hilarious!! ๐ So funny story....when i was a baby listening to my grandparents pet names for each other, i heard my grandpa call my grandma "Honey" all the time and I legit thought that was her name and that was what i should call her and i started calling her that and all the grandkids after me (im the 2nd oldest) started calling her that too. And for my grandpa, my dad and uncles and their football friends called him "Crab" because he was the grumpy parent in the bleachers at their football games and so it stuck to the point that even my grandma called him "crab". It just became his nickname and so hearing that also at 2 years old i started calling my grandpa "pa pa Crab" and then of course all the grandkids called him that after me too! So funny! I miss them so much since they've passed!

My husband and I have 4 kids, and anytime they're around I call him Daddy. He calls me Mama. When we're with his family and he's talking to me, his mom and I both answer ๐
And my 2 year old has started referring to him as "your daddy" when talking to me ๐ฅด๐
We never use those names when we're being intimate, thank goodness!! Only around the kids. When we're alone it's usually Baby, Babe, Sweetie, or Lo

My husband and I speak Spanish. We began calling each other "amor" (love), that morphed into "amorcito" (little love), then morphed to "amorcirou" (which is our equivalent to the previous version but with an American accent), and now we call each other "Ciro" (which is the last part of the previous version). This got really out of hand hahaha
