It's no secret Disney Star Wars has been a but of a mess for a while now. The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi have all been not great. Many of us truly feel that Star Wars is dying and that Disney Star Wars is broken. In a galaxy not so far away, the highly anticipated Ahsoka show has arrived on Disney+, but the force of disappointment is strong with this one. So far, Ahsoka is not great...BUT it does make the First Order better in the sequel trilogy by explaining why the remnants of the empire weren't able to cope with their defeat. They needed to believe it all wasn't for nothing and that they weren't wrong. Baylan needs to believe that his loyalty and faith in the Jedi creed mean something just like the remaining Imperials need Grand Admiral Thrawn to return to prove they're faith wasn't misplaced. Ahsoka will have to challenge this line of thinking and the events of the Ahsoka series will naturally lead rise to the First Order.
