As a woman who does the same thing: I understand. It hurts. And what hurts more is that society has drilled into men's heads that it's not okay to cry or be emotional. It hurts. We've been advocating for women's rights... but I think it's time to start advocating for men's.

Happily married of 4 years, together for 5. Maybe I'm just incredibly lucky (which i am), but i do not ever felt like my internal burdens cannot be helped by my wife anymore. Every time I've held something in, she knew that i was falling, and i communicated how i was feeling and she listened and supported me.
I feel like this level of communication led to all other marital issues becoming so much easier. Men, trust your wives! Just because she knows, doesnt mean you can't still burden the problem!

Im sorry to any man that hasn't found someone to open up to. Everyone needs that. I wish the man i had new he could have talked to me. Maybe we'd still be together.
