Cost of living isnt cheaper just the living standards are lower. Everything cost more in the UK when you compare like for like. Not sure why Americans lie. Housing, consumer, goods, pertol, electricity, transportation, taxes , etc are all higher.
Living in the UK is like living on the American coast with an Alabama salary.
