I wish these npc fights weren’t just bosses in gaols. It would’ve been so much better if we encountered them in the world organically - and they would actually be distinct with their colours instead of that one tone white/blue.

I like that they do so much work with the armor and weaponry, but it sort of neglects the fact that not every enemy in the world is a human. That armor isn't really made to work with the harpy beastmen and dragons, the monstrous crows and giant dogs. And even if those are considered rare and unlikely to be found in a castle (though harpies obviously attack them) we know the lion guardians were used by the wealthy/powerful to defend against human intruders.
