My provider offers 8gigs at home I donāt need it a gig is wayyyy overkill for my household but is cool to know that the option is available with just 1 call cause the hardware they installed is well equiped to handle that, isp is quantum fiber in florida

My current provider sells 1 gig for around $150 a month. Using their logic theyāll probably charge me around $1200 month for 8 gig. Along with milk at $15 a gallon, Netflix at $25 bucks, and my company removing my pay life is gonna be great.

8Gbit is so unnecessary even for myself a professional filmmaker. Sure it would be nice, but first I need an entire network that supports 10Gbit as well as that in all my devices. The average household though doesnāt even need 1Gbit at the moment with 2.5Gbit being overkill especially if all connections arenāt symmetrical.

yes but your LAN HUB only supports 1GB so if you have 2GB up and 1GB down is kinda useless unless you have a 2GB LAN HUB
