You make a great point, I’ve been thinking about this since you posted the video and 14 like I have had really isnt all that realistic especially if you’re trying to keep engagements short and break contact
Preferably not engage at all if possible but if I’m in something that requires 14 mags in SHTF I probably should have never got involved

And I can also ditch the cart itself and maybe hide some of the heaviest stuff and come back for it if I have to hump the puckerbrush. Forgot to add food in the list of carry stuff.

Hand carts for soldiers to hump ammo , water, and other supplies were used by armies that were more horse drawn than mechanized. AXIS in WW1 & 2 vs the Allies. And crates would be carried by 2 man teams.

I carry 23. I know some of y'all will say "BS" or it's unrealistic, but I'm a big boy and used to carrying a lot of weight. I've been training for this for a long time. I actually carry all of it.

Ammo to water ratio. No sense in carrying 50lbs of bullets and no water.

Its not realistic.. As a 3rd gen gulf war vet (no where near the sacrifices of our Iraq/Afghan Vets).. but having been raised by a 3x wounded Viet vet, (that was my disclaimer), I feel a 20 rd in the gun (ar style) and 3 30rds in a sling bag with med kit, is all Iam ever gonna need in "collapse suburbia". Iam either going to be able to take care of business and pick up everyone elses sh!t, or Iam gonna be dead, and get to go see Jesus. Griwing up I remember my dad buying a s&w 39-2 9mm. I remember asking why he didnt buy a "45"? He replied "I want your momma to be able to handle it". To this day, its his only handgun. I Can remember picking it up and it having only 5 or 6 rounds in it. Questioning that, he would reply, "I probly wont need to kill more than 5 or 6 at a time.. I never had to kill nore than 3 or 4 NVA at a time.." so to this day, for me, 110 556 rounds is plenty..
