Here’s my Gemmy Rocky the Singing Gorilla that I somehow found at a yard sale for a buck the same day I found that Gemmy penguin with the chick and the bongo snowman I uploaded a while ago. That was probably the most exciting haul in my life. This gorilla was my last buy of the day, it was like 11:30 when I found this and it had been sitting on a table facing the sun all day. It was so hot that it’s face was as squishy as the rubber hands are now, and the hands were even squishier then. But of course this isn’t the Hot Hot Hot version, this one sings “Great Balls of Fire”. I do prefer this one over the Hot Hot Hot ones, but I do want a Hot Hot Hot gorilla with a pink shirt now to go with this one. I’m not sure which version is more common, but at the time I’m typing this description there are no Hot Hot Hot ones on eBay, though there’s several Great Balls of Fire gorillas. I’m not sure why I’m talking about this though, it doesn’t matter. This is also the version with the push button in the hand, obviously. It came with a simple wire off for the movement that was so minor I forgot to include it in the description the first time (this is an edit). Other than that it worked fine.
