Even if the majority of Theologians believed Calvinistic worldview was THE only way to interpret Scripture, that would in no way mean they are correct.
We've seen plenty of examples in Scripture where the majority were not in the right.

It was by being a berean that I came to accept the soteriology of Calvanism. I didn't agree with it and I did not like it. My friends and family all didn't buy into it. Through reading the scriptures over about a two year period I realized there were not just a couple of proof texts, but piles of scriptures that I was wrestling with. The clear interpretation was calvanistic. I was always trying to find the alternative. Eventually I realized I was wrong and embraced TULIP.

While I object to much of the Eastern Orthodox Church one thing that I do appreciate is that they simply do not have some of these novel ideas. There is no debate about Calvinism in the EOC because it simply doesn't exist.

Most Evangelical churches I’ve gone to are Calvinist, then I get online and most of the pastors with followings on YouTube are Calvinist, so they seem like they dominate mainstream Christian theology. It’s a dark time in Christian history with Calvinism being so influential.
