Thermals renders players and not objects at some long ranges. Happened to me before. I was firing at a guy. And he wouldnt die. Then realized I was shooting at an object. The guy was behind it. The thing I was shooting at wasnt being rendered through the thermals. It was at night. So I couldnt see a thing either until I decided to go towards the guy.

the question would be is this a SCAV/Boss or PMC ? in DayZ there are Cheaters who shoot you trough anything. like 10 Houses and kill you in the 11th House where you stand in.
