The fact that there were actually people that did this rattles my cage the same way it did hearing that there were “fans” who actually not only made a point of finding Ged’s house in Toronto years ago, but went there, and were looking in and yelling at him through the windows. These people’s total disregard for his privacy just absolutely sickens me, and makes Neil’s blatant discomfort with fan adulation that much more understandable and even warranted.

They were basically finished as a band after there last tour in 2015. They had an amazing run with so much great music. We should cherish that and move on. Leave these guys alone already people!

As a huge Rush fan who based his drumming style off of Neil's, I would never dream of replacing him. Neil was so unique and cannot/ should not be replaced.
Rest in peace, NP. I hope you are teaching my son the drums 💙

As much as we all wish we could make it different, Rush is no more. Sadly the incredible, irreplaceable human being Neil Peart passed and Rush ended at that point. No question Ged and Alex still have music in their hearts, as I believe they always will, and they are certainly at liberty to continue playing (if they so choose), but it is completely understandable (and certainly appropriate/respectful, IMHO) that it would not be as Rush. RIP Neil. You are dearly missed by many!
