One day probably. Battery technology just needs to get better. Hopefully one day a car can charge fully in a minute or two and the batteries last longer.

I don’t think it’s a matter of ‘sides.’ There are certain applications I think an EV is useful. For example, my commute to work, store, appointments, etc are very short (1-2 miles max). I’d use an EV and I could use it for at least 15yrs. When it comes to traveling to see family and friends that live 350+ miles I’m gonna have to go with a hybrid or gasser. I don’t really like stopping all that much and depending on where you’re going they may not be close to the infrastructure for a charger. If you’re hauling an RV or trailer to go camping with the family then a diesel without an EGR or gasser is gonna be my choice. Honestly, I really think it comes down to your particular situation and what best suits the individual person. People need to stop thinking about EVs as a good or bad and see the vehicles as a ‘right tool for the right job.’

I just want to point out, Tesla does it better. The software on Tesla is easier to use, and works much better. Not to mention the range, acceleration, and pure power of any Tesla, even the 3 is much better. Even just riding in them you can feel an immense difference.
