Your son Neo is very bright and smart boy. I am deaf mother of two hearing adult children. Don’t feel discouraged yourself. I am so proud of Neo and he’s a quick leaner - keep sign language and help his English grammar better. I love watching all of you and family especially Neo and Abella. My youngest was born blind with profound hearing loss. When I had him in public school they did nothing for him to make his life better. Best thing i ever did was sending him to a school specifically for the deaf and the blind. It was far away so he had to stay in their dorms and come home on the weekend s but he thrived there so much and learned so much. Maybe you can look into a special school for the deaf near you. There all over the country. Hopefully he starts to catch up. He's such a sweet and smart little boy. Both your kids are beautiful.

Don’t feel like a bad parent. You’re an amazing parent. Just keep pushing towards his education, talk with his teachers and see what there is to improve.
I don’t want to bring up a sad story but at the age of 1 I was dropped on the head and I had brain damage. I was very lucky it happened early on in my life and not in older years because I had more than enough time to develop. However, this brain damage caused me to have learning and communication difficulties. When I was little kid at school from 4 years old all the way to 16 I struggled a lot. I was predicted 0 GCSEs and I was a very good student who behaved. Over time he’ll gradually pick it up. I promise you. I am now at university heading for a degree.
