I just finished a job interview for a position that would be a huge risk but has the potential to be much more lucrative and rewarding than my current job that is comfortable and safe. Hearing this right now really gives me the confidence to make the change if the opportunity comes to fruition.

I grew up in the bottom half of the economic scale.
My dad was very successful until the recession of the of 70's.
He list everything and he never recovered mentally from that. He never tried to better himself after that.
Out of HS I had no compass and literally tried several different career paths.
I then found construction, started my own business.
Was making 6 figures. Owned several properties.
Then was hit by a drunk driver. After a million dollar spinal surgery I ended up losing everything.
15 years later I own my house out right.
Still married, 32 years this year.
My kids are doing well on their own. I am working a very niche job that requires no physical effort.
Still fighting the fight and moving forward.
Living the dream every day!
The only reason why someone can not get out of poverty is they are holding themselves down mentally!

While in Iraq I saw people living in the Taji garbage dump. Yes but all the while they steal a portion that they don't deserve and that portion keeps going right up. Let's also realize that we don't legally own our houses or land case being if you're un able to pay your property tax extortion you will be evicted and your stuff thrown to the street!
