One of my daughters was real sick at school one day. She had a 105 degree fever, she was coughing and sneezing all over the place. She felt fine that morning but as soon as she got in the nurses office, she looked totally different. The nurse immediately called me into her office, as I work there as well, and told me that she needed to be sent home early. Before I could grant her that request, one of her teachers bursted in and started to berate my daughter for āfaking itā and when I told her that she had to get home, her teacher just stood there. Hereās what I told that teacher:
āNo one EVER berates my daughter and gets away with it. I may be an employee of the school, but Iām a father firstā

This is something that's been common in my school, we have many who have different allergies and the school lunch staff think its too much extra work to make it without the things people are allergic to, and atleast one person from a certain grade will have a reaction, but the when they go to confront the staff for lying about the ingredients, he got 2 week suspension for "disrespecting staff, lying, and disrupting the learning process" We boycotted the school lunch by having everyone pack food no matter what so the lunch staff still cook a bunch of food to serve and they also serve leftovers and then at the end of the year, so much food gone to the bin.
