After watching and waiting for a window in the wintery weather I witnessing the most wonderful Wistical whiteout at this ancient oak wood.
With no one about I walked alone across the snowy moorland wilderness on a whim unsure whether I was wacky or wise but it was definitely worth it in the end. I certainly wasn’t left wanting.
Wandering around the perimeter of this Winter Wonderland was an absolute joy aware that the moment would never be a wistful memoir.
WoW! It was so beautifully bleak and peaceful in the whispering flurries as the snow settled on the twisted mossy tree limbs and boulders creating a Hollywood winter film set.
Wistman’s Wood, Dartmoor has to be one of the ‘Wonders’ of the World or certainly worthy of the West Country.
