matters about capacity if you wnt your battery to last forever you dont want to deplete below 20% and you dont want to charge above 80% it has nothing to do with charge cycles or time

There is zero reason to leave a battery on the charger past full. Depending on the energy management system, it can place batteries under a state of high stress and damage batteries. If the instructions don't say to this, DONT.

Dude people's homes are gonna brun down because of you. you have no idea what you're talking about. Leaving a battery on charge for so long can damage it and potentually catch fire, it's how almost all e bike fires happen. DONT LISTEN TO THIS GUY

What kind of jackassery is this? These aren't lead acid batteries. When a lithium battery reaches its peak charge, the charger shuts of, and that's it. It doesn't continue to charge, or trickle charge. So if the battery charges for an hour, and the charge cycles ends, the battery will sit there and be drained by the capacitors in the battery charger.
I don't suggest listening to me tho, I only buy recycled laptop batteries, tear them down, and build my own battery packs from cylindrical lithium-ion batteries, known 18650s. My current setup is a 114 Ah, 240 cell battery pack.
