I had this same conversation with a friend of mine at the start of this season, except it was just abandoning playing adc altogether. its because utility is really op at the moment. You dont need to one shot people or light everyone up all at once. You need to make people engage with awkward timing and have ways that you by yourself can peel and control space. Bruisers and tanks can one shot people.
