Totally agree about prayers for the holy souls of purgatory, find time in your day try turning off your Car Radio as you go to the store or to work or on a trip and take the time to pray for the holy souls in Purgatory.

Yes. Practicing mercy is of extreme importance. I saw this when i died... In my NDE, i judged myself as if i was watching another person. The forgiveness you offer others now is practice for when you finally see yourself as others see you in your life review. It's all part of finding out how God sees you. You MUST show mercy to others. Love your enemies. Bless those that curse you. This is an essential practice.
