I am disgusted by the D.A.'s office that allowed that. Maybe if he hadn't committed murder (did he perjure himself, as well?), and had something EXTREMELY valuable to offer society, I might have agreed with 60 yrs to Life...no parole, but it seems that HER life was under-valued.

This is why after 3 hellish years of criminal justice in college I had to quit while I was doing my internship at the prosecutorās officeā¦.you go in thinking you will be helping the innocent (those in defense law are usually interested in the rights for everyone). Then you see and hear personally every detail of drug cases that get huge amounts of years in prisonā¦. And yet murder or abuse cases barely get a slap in the wrist š©
