I didn't have a hard time with this guy my first playthrough (i was running sword of night and flame carian spell sword build at the time)
Then game my second new game + playthrough. Was going as a dragon communion/cultist death knight with the dueling shield. OH MY GOD fighting this guy pretty much melee only is the worst dark souls experience I've ever had and I fought the bosses in the second half of DS1. Jesus
