This used to have flat 950 rpm. Then StyLis, in their fashion of ruining everything that was perfectly fine the way it was, decided to add the stupid firerate rampup thingy. Now it sucks >:(

i mained m16a1 for quite a bit, very underrated

When it first released it didn't had that fire rate build up mechanic, and I was a bit disappointed, expecting a higher damage with regular fire rate and small magazine kind of weapon and not another smg rush weapon.

I recently started using the m16a1 and I find for myself using double lasers and a muzzle brake then just going for hip fire kills works great.

I'm maining the M16A1, it looks gorgeous, with iron sights so clean I refuse to use optics. It's also very light.

It has some damage falloff at range, down to 19 per shot but you can work with it thanks to the high firerate and low recoil.
