I had a blessing that said the Lord would teach me how to keep the law of Chastity. And He did. And it was so much about my intent and showing affection and not lust. Obviously we know certain boundaries must be kept to keep the law chastity. But I could’ve been well within those boundaries, but my intent was selfish and I felt like I needed to grow in my respect for this gift and for the other person. And part of that was getting counseling for the trauma I had been through that made physical touch more of a coping for myself than a binding love. Even though I was, and still am a virgin, I still needed to learn how to be chaste, like he said.

I agree that it is a mindset that you grow into. It is not just a rule, it is a profound doctrine. There are many levels to chastity. The word is similar to the virtue. Great interview. Thanks.
