Old video. Found this video of the Hotpoint Smart WMFUG942 I used to have. Looking back, it did me a favour when it went wrong for the 2nd time in less than 2 years. I forgot how bad this machine was. A bit like a bad relationship lol. I believe we should always try something once! I tried it and went to Beko and then LG. This noise on the final spins was a regular occurrence as with other odd knocking/banging/ticking sounds from the suspension. It would disappointingly, spend a long time balancing, often failing to spin and leaving my clothes wet at the end or not spinning at full 1400rpm! All that faffing about on every spin - really!!. I used to get regularly pissed off with it when it came to it's balancing acts. I felt the difference in quality in the Beko and LG of a better construction in those machines as opposed to the Hotpoint. The LG should be, it's expensive!! But still use screwed tubs which is good. Beko, excellent build for the price! Please note, old 2016 video I do not own this machine anymore.
