Avalanche at 7500 altitude is no controversy.

Epic level stupidity, she saw before getting 80m / 40min from the top multiple Avalanches. One of these killed her competitor. Winds 100km/h. Yet she did not feel the need to turn around.
This may be luck of actual experience.

They thought they were competing against each other....when in reality they were competing against the mountain ....they were too busy worrying about each other , taking risk to beat each other and the mountain took both of them out
