Should’ve got oversized covers first off. Second it isnt the painters job to fix it but they should at least point it out. Lastly the outlets shouldn’t be that loose . Everyone f’d up

That’s typically the drywall guys handle that. As a painted I wouldn’t be allowed to touch it. If the builder I inspected properly it wouldn’t have gotten that far

Im a painter, and i cannot tell you how many times ive went into paint new homes and seen this.. idk of its painters doing this or builders but I know my compamy would never do some dumb shit like that..

I've gotta say the painter should have got that fixed but the carpenters should have had it cut out better than that. Or maybe the sparky "you" can put a over sized plate on those poorly cut receptacles

The drywall hangers are rookie as hell. Why the hell would you trace a cover plate to make your cutouts? Ive seen worse. But ya, ppl are getting lazy and stupid these days for sure

Hangers need to learn how to use a router, if you run it the right direction it sticks to the box, and don’t get me started on the tapers, not like they don’t know the plate won’t cover… but it’s always the painters’ fault… smdh
