No, there is no Rush if itās not the 3 of them, however I absolutely want Geddy and Alex to play together again no doubt, but I donāt want to see them as Rush.

Geez, I wish people would stop this crap. Having seen Rush 49 times, I'm fine letting them end and move on. Rush is done, and I doubt Ged and Alex will ever play together again regardless how much they love each other and may want to. These guys are 70. Don't make them turn into the Stones who don't know when you quit.

The whole RUSH mystique is based on their being a lyric driven band. Nothing existed before the lyricist put the pen to paper. Once translated, the 2 genius musicians had to write based upon the feel of what they had read. Once finished, the best Drummer ever would listen and add or subtract, then he put drums in. Then they challenged each other, that which was left was recorded. I have never heard them speak of giving a tune up for lyrics, and itās too late for that. They need to be their own cover band and have any original lyrics be added and each song from a working artist or songwriter. Itās also gotta be Lee/Lifeson. Anything else feels blasphemous

Iām very late, but if they were to do anything Rush-related live, Geddy & Alex should do acoustic sets. I can see that working so well.

As far as I'm concerned Alex played in a Marco's album named Borrego. So, your wish may be a real possibility. Besides, Steven Wilson once described Minneman driving force as some sort of Neil Peart's. I agree. So, who knows... Personally I think Matt Cameron has more possibilities of joining Dirk and Lerxt.

Wrong! Rush needs to enjoy their retirement. Neil was the ONLY DRUMMER for Rush. They're my favorite band. I would not spend $$ or time to see them any other way.
