Yesterday I asked an AI for a recipe to make blueberry scones with the stipulation that it use cream as well as self rising flour. Rather than tell me it was not a good idea, which should be evident that there are no recipes using that combination of ingredients for scones, it made something up. As a baker I can say they are came out nothing like scones. They are cake like, highly salted because the AI didn't take into account self rising flour already has salt, and the dough was far too wet to be workable following the recipe. We like to say that AI's often hallucinate their answers, they make stuff up based on their best guess of what might work, but we know they cannot actually think, at least not as we do. And so I present hallucinations of a Large Language Model ChatBot.

Apologies to Doug Hoyt whose voice and guitar antics I borrowed for this mess.

People will and should wonder what the heck I'm thinking here. I've been looking at advanced features of Reaper, among them the MK Slicer, which is what happened to Doug's vocals. But also considerable time working on new techniques of tempo mapping, and forcing a prerecorded drum loop to match Doug's subtle .variations in timing. Days spent reorganizing my samples libraries. I'm hoping these practices will pay off in the coming weeks and months.
