Soviet convoys were flanked on narrow passes as targets of opportunity. The Suomi sub machine gun was one of the most superbly reliable and accurate close range killing machines. The Fin Mosin was inescapable at long to medium range. The Fins fought brilliantly with lesser forces and superior firepower. This type of hunting was a shared tactic.
