After cleaning off the Varmint nest & droppings (hence the Trucks nickname) we found that most of the wiring, hoses & plastic parts were eaten away. We ditched the Fuel Injection, by-passed the Computer & converted to a Carburetor & Chinese GM HEI one wire Coil-in-Cap Distributor to simplify the wiring. It turns out that this Chinese Distributor had a real slow Mechanical Advance so we are installing a Mr. Gasket # 929G Advance Curve Kit. #fordf150 #fordperformance #distributor #ignitionsystem #dyi #performanceimprovement

Great point about the weights and rotation. I've got a couple of 89 Fords on the farm and I don't think I'd take the time to convert them over to carburetor
