The book of Revelation is a DREAM by a man called John on the island of Patmos. Scholars DO NOT think it was the same John as in the Gospels of John. The writing and style are different.
It was a custom for a student to attribute his writings to his teacher.
It is a coded writing about the Roman occupation and cruelty.
It was written in this style so as not to be caught writing against Rome.
This book was deemed too "wacky" by some early church leaders for having monsters and beasts with multiple heads, portraying Jesus as violent killer, etc... It was rejected and removed from the Bible, put back in, taken out, put in etc...
Until it was squeezed into the Bible in the 4th century.

I had a dream in which I encountered Jesus and He was talking to me (while we were taking a stroll in the woods) He was telling me many things including things in the book of revelation but I WASN'T ABLE TO LISTEN TO EVERYTHING because there was a noise around us which was kinda interrupting. Meanwhile I didn't want to miss a thing so i kept saying "pardon... pardon...." like asking Jesus to repeat Himself...and i was thinking that maybe am bothering Him telling Him to repeat Himself... but He wasn't bothered at all ๐He smilingly would repeat Himself BUT STILL I WASN'T HEARING EVERYTHING ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ
