I had a weird interaction at the roulette table recently. I asked the dealer directly please give me a straight up hit while only betting 4 numbers and he did 5/6 times. I was then talking about a story at another casino involving a ball coming out of the wheel. What do you know? The next ball flies and out smacks the woman dead center in the forehead right next to me.
