And this is exactly why the tool trucks (Snap On) are so popular. No need to go online and fill out a form amd wait fir a response. Simply walk onto the truck and hand the broken tool to the dealer. Your dealer will hand you a new tool and you're done.
Sometimes they will rebuild it like with ratchets. I actually like this since I don't need to etch a new one with my initials.
Most importantly, there is NO shipping to be paid on a warranty claim.
