Taylor's old singing style is so nostalgic for me and when I was a kid I always wake up because of the loud music of our neighbor playing Blank space or love story and I'm sad that Taylor doesn't do her old style anymore but I still love Taylor's new way of singing and it's beautiful, it's also sad that taylor will release her debut album in the future and I will be forbidden to listen to old recordings 😢😢

She’s definitely not trying to sound younger. I think in the more recent albums she shows off her lower range, while she tended to show off her higher range in the earlier albums. So, like many other people have said, it is a creative style choice, not attempting to sound younger. If you listen to the original vs the re-recordings, you can tell her voice has matured. 😊
