I DO NOT OWN THIS ITEM! (Yet, Technically. It’s a long story)
Here’s something I fixed for Cris Benson the Gemmy Collector awhile ago. It’s a Gemmy Valentines “Singing Wigglers” Dog. It had the same issue as pretty much all the wigglers, where it didn’t move side to side, just up and down. And I can see why. It might just be this specific item, but the fabric on this is very tight, and it can’t move side to side easily because it doesn’t have enough room. There are wire arms on the mechanism, which are obviously intended to go in the arms, but yet the mech has to be so far up in the head that the wires can’t even reach to arms. In fact, pretty much the whole thing is just empty space except the mech itself, so Gemmy could’ve fixed the issue easily. They could’ve actually made this really really small if they wanted to. But it’s still a cool item, I’m glad I got the opportunity to fix something like this, it was an interesting thing to work with, even though I hardly did anything. There was a small plastic piece that controls the top part of the mech that was snapped off and missing. It wasn’t inside the item either, and I received this with no zip tie so I’m sure it fell out somewhere. Anyway, I just drilled the plastic and put a heavy duty screw all the way through, then reinforced it by covering the whole piece in glue. But that’s just about it. The dog wiggles up and down and side to side to “Baby Got Back”. Thank you so much for watching the video! I really hope you enjoyed it! I love reading comments and hearing what you have to say, so please comment! Stay tuned for more videos similar to this on my channel!

I did the same repair on a bear one I used to have, I hated having to put the skin back on because it makes you feel like you're doing something wrong just by how tightly strapped on it is. I think I got rid of it for that exact reason too lol.
