Simply because of his rivalry with Gojo. People don't call Kenjaku and Yuta frauds because they don't contend for the status of the strongest. Some people feel like Sukuna cheated, contrarily to Gojo who only relied on his own experience, talent and toolset. But people got too hooked on that rivalry and forgot that Sukuna is first and foremost the primary antagonist and villain of the story so of course he'd do shit like that, especially if it can allow him to gain a new ability as he's a jujutsu nerd

People don't realize that limitless is just a bad match up against any curse technique. There is no way for anyone without the 10 shadows to bypass infinity. The 10 shadows is by default the only win con against Gojo.

Because if sukuna was actually the strongest he wouldn't need Mahoraga to beat gojo. Kenjaku's strength is based on his barriers and stolen techniques while yuta is strong because of his techniques and rika, but sukuna made his strength with his own techniques so suddenly needing the ten shadows to beat gojo makes him a fraud.
