Does it mute during the automatic cycle? What if you have a 12-inch record that spins at 45 or a 7-inch record that spins at 33? The Technics SL-QD33 that I had for nearly 30 years really started to annoy me because it was live all the time. Hitachi made some great units, but I eventually went with a Sony PS-X55, which I loved so much that I wound up buying TWO of ’em!
