HOT OIL TREATMENT FOR NATURAL HAIR

When it comes to protecting and nourishing dry brittle hair, hot oil treatments are a popular option.

Oils from plant like almond, aloe Vera,Moringa, coconut,Jojoba,Avocado, Argan, hot oil treatments work by sealing the hair cuticle. This treatment can help to strengthen and protect your hair,You can also use one or two or a combination of oils

THE BENEFITS

1, RESTORES MOISTURE BALANCE TO YOUR HAIR

2. SEALS MOISTURE INTO YOUR ENDS

3. INCREASES BLOOD CIRCULATION TO
YOUR SCALP.

4. STRENGTHENS & NOURISHES HAIR WHICH HELPS APPEARANCE OF SHININESS

5.HELPS PREVENT SPLIT ENDS

6.HELPS BRING BRITTLE DRY HAIR BACK TO LIFE

7.SMOOTHS THE HAIR CUTICLE TO SOFTEN DRY ROUGH HAIR.

8. PREVENTS FRIZZ & PROTECTS FROM DRY SCALP AND DANDRUFF

However, before you use a hot oil treatment, be sure it’s right for your type of hair, and that you understand the safety risks.

If you have any skin condition such as psoriasis or eczema, ask your doctor or dermatologist if a hot oil treatment is safe to use on your scalp.

HOW TO APPLY HOT OIL TREATMENT

Firstly remove knots from natural hair then shampoo natural hair.Hot oil tends to work best on clean hair,This helps or allows the oil to deeply penetrate the hair cuticle.
After washing your hair,

Get your preferred oil, boil water, pour the water into a bowl, dip the oil into the hot water and allow it to get hot, then bring out and use it and test a little amount of oil on your wrist to be sure it's not too hot.

Put a towel over your shoulders to protect your cloth from getting stained.

Then apply the oil evenly through out your hair and massage it into your scalp and Cover your hair with a shower cap or plastic bag and wait for 30 minutes.

After waiting for 30 minutes completely rinse out the oil from your hair with a co-wash cleanser twice and follow up with your normal conditioner to avoid your hair from being too greasy after doing a hot oil treatment.

Girl... never have I ever seen someone apply oil like this. Just seems unnecessarily messy

Everyone is saying it’s too much oil but this is her hair. And if you look at how the Indian women do it this is the amount of oil they use they saturate their hair with the oil and their hair is down their butts full and healthy. Ever stop to think you might have been doing it wrong this whole time?

This was very satisfying ❤️🫶🏾

Queen, job well done! I used to do this when I first started my natural hair journey...AND IT WORKED!!! I called myself trying to simplify my routine. But, truth be told, it was just laziness. But, watching this video has inspired me to start back doing it again. And I never thought about using a bowl!!! My drains say 'Thank you '!!!

I haven’t had a hot oil treatment since I was a teen, but I remember my hair being ultra healthy with it

This looks so soothing to the scalp. You truly made sure you saturated every strand with oil. I love the use of the bowl too. I think I’d take that excess oil and add it to other hair treatments or my deep conditioner. Thank you for sharing. I love how thick your hair is. What benefits have you experienced doing this treatment and how often do you do it?
