Hi Dean, my thinking is that the manufacturer of that table saw would probably use the same worn drive thingy that you 3d printed on both the tilt and up and down mech. May I suggest you remove the metal worm drive from the tilt and put it on the up and down spindle. If it works take the metal worm drive as the pattern to who ever you find to make you one. these acme threads are funny things!

Nice work with the 3d design Dean. If it's not too big I can do a resin print of it if you'd like to give it a whirl. I have a Elegoo Mars 2 pro resin printer. Can't remember the build volume off hand but Google will tell you what it is.

Hi Dean, just a thought about the motor that you have for this saw, if you look at most 250mm dia table saws, they usually use a 1500 to 1800 watt motor and as one horsepower is 750 watts that equates to two to two and a half horsepower to run t5his saw.
It is my opinion looking at the motor that came with the saw that someone has replaced the original motor ?

I don’t know what the pricing is like and if they can actually do it, but now you have nailed the CAD file (I’m guessing that’s what you’ve designed it with) can you send it to Pcbway and have them mill/turn it?
