To make your render times faster, you can let Blender use your GPU. Just go to Edit->Preferences->System->Cycles Render Devices.
Then choose a Device based on your GPU:
CUDA = Low-end Nvidia (GTX)
OptiX = High-end Nvidia (RTX)
HIP = AMD
oneAPI = Intel Arc
And then tick the boxes next to your GPU & CPU.
