I love wall slides to help teach an individual on how to REACH with their upper extremity. This involves utilizing muscles like the serratus anterior to help guide the shoulder blade.

Add a band and use a concept called RNT (reactive neuromuscular training) to kick the rotator cuff in to gear and add further challenge to the movement.

I do this exercise on a wooden door because it slides better than on a wall. Also, if you use a pillow, not only is more comfortable but it slides
