Scavenger hunts are one of our favorite ways to get up & move around during a work cycle, and this rainbow color match scavenger hunt is so fun!

Here we’re using one of my homemade color rolls, rolled out right in the center of our schoolroom on our beautiful round table by @radchildrensfurniture (it’s the best!). This setup makes it super easy for everyone to move through the space, searching for and matching items from all around our schoolroom to the color roll.

If you don’t have a color roll, you can use anything to start the search - line up colorful trays, crayons, pieces of construction paper, blocks! Anything goes! Then send everyone off to find colorful matching objects.

It’s so fun to do this all together! In our experience, it’s a great mood changer when someone is feeling grumpy, and it sometimes also helps us get past that famous “false fatigue” during a work cycle!
