It's a very delicate euphorbia. You can keep it going for years, but not without setbacks. That thing is a mealybug magnet in the spring.

I've kept them, but they dont rebloom for me. My amaryllis bulbs dont bloom either, no matter how heavy I feed them or put them to sleep. I just get new leaves.

Just be careful of fungus gnats with poinsettia. They are very prone to that pest for some reason💚🪴

I am looking for a variegated🎉 poinsettia. Have you seen one Richie showed one on one of his plant tours! I have kept a poinsettia for a year or more it wasn’t red any more nothing but green leaves after all the red died off lol
