even Romania uses BMWs in its police fleet.
BMWs are used as police cars in over 40 countries,
but why would anyone even use these expensive and unreliable cars in their Police fleet,

they use them because of their speed and agility, plus they are all under warranty since the BMWs are technically government fleet vehicles, however usually after 5-10 years when the warranty runs out, they are almost completely destroyed and sold at police auctions. So no it’s not a question of reliability since that is all paid for, it is a question of the speed and handling which is why they are bought

Netherlands went from (classic porsche to) vw, to mercedes and we just moved to bmw and ford, because there where many complaints with the mercedes
