I love the concept but did not like the design so I grabbed some paint pens and decided to redecorate the pieces myself.
I love how this puzzle experienced a transformation of its own - just like a butterfly’s metamorphosis.
Working with the existing shapes I created a leaf with an egg, then a caterpillar then a pupa (or chrysalis) and finally the majestic monarch butterfly.
My toddler loves putting this puzzle together too.
Then we decided to go find some butterflies in real life. At first we didn’t find any so I said “maybe the butterflies are sleeping” so she yelled “WAKE UP!” LoL
Then daddy drove us to another part of the property where she found lots of butterflies.
I love helping my toddler learn about and experience nature!
