I don't like the idea of saying these are your best lyrics, but rather each of your songs are full of experience, and it is obvious you have matured and are growing and reflecting on your feelings and how things are, which is good.
Just don't embrace depression and jadedness too much, i struggle with it too and i can relate to how you feel.
I do think we could maybe some day find passionate inspiration for music in joy and have it mean something genuine..
Something better than "corruption inspires me."
That lyric is something i've thought about, my lyrics are often inspired by wanting to correct and prevent wrongdoings.
But somewhere there has to be a deep rooted feeling of joy that you can access and express, and i encourage you to latch onto it and present it, even if it is difficult for me to find it myself sometimes. Just some words of motivation for you.
