I got a service call after a homeowner had tried this and ran a 4 inch screw through the jamb and into the light switch box. They couldnโ€™t figure out why they kept getting shocks from the doorknob. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Replace the hinge screws with deck screws and a door lock that reinforces the door jamb.

...yes, to prevent burglaries. But also to prevent your punky teenagers from destroying your doors when they slam them all day long.

how do you make it nice n secure for double doors and can't do what you just showed..or can you ? thx

Least resistant path into your home would be to just break a window.
You canโ€™t prevent people from entering your home. Most homes in US donโ€™t have grills on windows that can prevent people from breaking in.
And almost every lock can picked.
